A ampla gama dinâmica 14-stop, o V-Log gama e a colorimetria V-Gamut da gama larga de cores, que são herdadas da VariCam Series garantem imagens semelhantes ao cinema chamadas VariCam Look.
 
Dual native ISO de 800/2500 oferece sensibilidade muito alta com baixo ruído. Suporta gravação de alta taxa de frames de 4K 60 fps / 2K 240 fps no máximo. O mecanismo de activação/desactivação do filtro de IR (raio infravermelho) permite a captura de imagens IR de fantasia com o modo Cinematografia.
 
A unidade principal é leve e compacta, pesando apenas 1,2 kg. É equipado com um suporte de lente EF. O monitor LCD possui uma função de painel sensível ao toque e permite uma montagem flexível.
